ALAGA Pralines
Equipment
- 1 Saucepan
- 1 – Mixing Bowl
Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 T. butter or margarine
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 c. pecan halves
- 1/2 c. ALAGA Cane Syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. heavy cream
Instructions
- Boil the sugars, ALAGA Cane Syrup and heavy cream together, until mixture reaches the soft ball stage (238 degrees). Stir constantly during cooking. Remove from heat.
- Add the butter, nuts and vanilla, and stir until the mixture begins to sugar.
- Drop tip of spoon into mounds on buttered baking sheets.
