Sweet Potato Casserole

Equipment

  • Medium sauce pan
  • Small baking dish.

Ingredients
  

Sweet Potato Mixture

  • 1 lg. can drained sweet potatoes
  • 1/4 stick butter
  • dash cinnamon
  • dash cloves
  • 3 T. ALAGA Cane Syrup
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar

Topping

  • 2 c. corn flakes
  • 3/4 stick butter
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar

Instructions
 

Sweet Potato Mixture

  • Add all ingredients together.
  • Cook for 7 minutes on medium heat.
  • Put sweet potato mixture in a small baking dish.

Topping

  • Melt butter and brown sugar in a medium sauce pan until sugar is melted.
  • Add the corn flakes.
  • Stir immediately until the flakes are covered with the brown sugar mixture.
  • Place on top of sweet potatoes evenly.
